TECH CORPS is looking for tech-savvy professionals who are interested in volunteering in local elementary schools to lead hands-on activities focused on the fundamentals of Computer Programming, Robotics, Web Development and Digital Media. If you have a passion for technology and care about your community, you can help by volunteering with TECH CORPS.
Last year, TECH CORPS volunteers put students in the role of creating and designing with technology—not just using and consuming it. Through their experiences, more than 500 students began to make connections between the technology they love to use and the educational and career opportunities associated with the creation of this technology. This year, with your help, we will reach over 1,000 students.
TECH CORPS volunteers are matched with the right settings, according to their expertise, wishes and in combination with program needs. Volunteers assist throughout the school year (Oct – May) and give as much time as their schedules allow.
Volunteer projects kick off on October 7th with the Annual Volunteer Orientation Meeting. To learn more or to register as a volunteer visit TECH CORPS.
