1492 Demo Day Set for January 11

TechColumbus, Columbus State Community College and Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) have announced details for the upcoming 1492 Demo Day.  The event will celebrate completion of the program by the five participating startups selected last October for the 1492 business accelerator.  

Business, academic, civic and community leaders along with investors are invited to learn more about these promising young companies who are contributing to the continued economic growth and jobs creation in the region.

The event will be held at CCAD’s Canzani Center at 60 Cleveland Avenue. Registration and networking begins at 2:30, followed by the formal company pitches by each participating company.

1492, the second voyage, is a collaboration among TechColumbus, Columbus
State Community College and CCAD, with support from Ohio Third Frontier.  It is a business accelerator program designed to provide startups with support and funding to launch their ideas into investable companies within the space of the 11-week program.
