January 5, 2012
Wednesday, January 11, participants in the 1492 business accelerator program will present their companies, their progress and their investment opportunities to the public during a Demo Day to be held on the campus of CCAD.
The event will showcase the five companies that were selected last October from a field of 162 applicants to participate in the 11-week business acceleration program, which was a collaboration among TechColumbus, CCAD and Columbus State Community College. The five 1492 participants represent business interests as far ranging as customizable shipping pallets, to a mobile app for food truck vendors, to business and administrative software solutions for local farmers, churches and community colleges.
The event is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on January 11 at the Canzani Center, 60 Cleveland Avenue on the campus of CCAD. The public, business leaders, and investors are encouraged to attend. Attendance is free, but registration is requested RSVP to Laura Coffee at lcoffee@techcolumbus.org
