Organizers of the 3 Rivers Venture Fair (3RVF) are now accepting nominations for participants in the upcoming annual investment event scheduled for September 21-22 in Pittsburgh. The event brings together privately held, capital-seeking technology and biotech companies with some of the nation’s most prominent investors and venture capitalists. Since its launch in 2002, the fair is credited with helping participants raise in excess of $300 million in investment funding.
Companies must apply to present at the fair and there is a fee of $599 for those that are selected to present before investors. But there is also another opportunity for companies who are not yet ready to raise money to gain exposure before this key audience through The First Fifty program.
The First Fifty Program is designed for technology entrepreneurs who are not yet ready to raise money, do not yet meet the presentation criteria, have limited budgets and those who would benefit from the considerable educational and networking advantages afforded through the event. The goal of the program is to help prepare tomorrow’s technology innovators for the fundraising process, build a pipeline of future 3RVF presenting companies and provide sponsors with an attractive outreach program for eligible clients and prospects.
As a sponsor of the 3RVF, TechColumbus can nominate entrepreneurs to participate in The Fast Fifty program at a greatly reduced rate of just $150. The number of participants is limited to 50, so nominations for The Fast Fifty programs should be submitted as quickly as possible.
If you would like more information, or would like to have your company considered either for The Fast Fifty Program or as a presenter during 3RVF, contact Allison Finkelstein, associate vice president of investments for TechColumbus at afinkelstein@techcolumbus.org
