Please send responses to rgudipudi@everesttech.com or call 614.376.4948 This role will entail approximately 70% Production Support and 30% Ab Initio Development Initial investigation, solution identification and sizing Requirements management and high level design. Detailed analysis and design. Specification for construction by yourself or another team member. Build and unit test against specifications. Design, develop, code, test, debug and document applications using AbInitio and other supporting tools to satisfy requirements of user areas Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations Establish auditing procedures to ensure data integrity Responsible for on-time delivery of high-quality code System test planning and system test execution. Support QA phase by tracking and assigning defects to development team; work with QA leads to schedule fixes and builds and enable QA to be successful Implementation and warranty support. Identify efficiencies and ways to improve design and development processes Identify ways to increase efficiency of production support - Find solutions that allow operations to better do their job without involving development resource time. Participate in the definition of Operational Data Stores and data marts that perform well and meet the client expectations. Works with other team members, including DBA's, ETL developers, Technical Architects, and Business Analysts Insure that solutions are not one-offs, but can be leverage across the organization Excellent knowledge of the Full life cycle of a project.
