Agil IT Hires EHR Clinical Consultant, EHR Quality Improvement Specialist

Troy, Ohio – Agil IT, a leading provider of information technology services to the health care industry, today announced that Kerri Gilligan joined the company as a Clinical Consultant and EHR Quality Improvement Specialist. 

Kerri comes to Agil IT from Ohio KePRO where she served as Quality Improvement Project Specialist providing direct support for the Medicare QIO Prevention Electronic Health Record (EHR) initiative.  Prior to Ohio KePRO, she held the position of Sr. Clinical Quality Specialist for United Healthcare of Ohio, Inc., where she supervised clinical operations staff and developed, monitored, and documented multiple clinical quality improvement studies. 

Kerri holds an Associate Degree in Science of Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She also holds professional certifications in Healthcare Quality, Health Informati on Technology, and Electronic Health Records. 

Kerri will assist medical practices in assessing EHR systems and by providing technical assistance for clinical decision support, alerts, template building, clinical reporting and e-prescribing functions. She will also educate and lead clinical teams through process and system redesign focused on implementation of care management and achieving Meaningful Use.
