Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related discipline required.

5-8 years of software development experience, which must include java development. Experience with XML and data modeling. Experience in end-user content-based web applications. Must have completed a significant project using User Interface frameworks (YUI, JQuery, OpenSocial) and underlying services (SOA). Understanding of web services, user authentication methods, and database methods also required. Experience with Java, Jquery, Html,and Spring

Pillar is currently seeking a Software Developer with heavy UI focus. Developer who is an expert in:

• HTML

• JavaScript

• Graphics Design

• CSS

• JQuery

• JSP / Java Development

Strong interpersonal skills are a must as there will be a lot of interaction with client. On the initial project, consultant will be responsible for creating, analyzing, designing and modifying test programs and systems. They will also be responsible for defining the technology needed to build a User Interface on top of service based architecture. The candidate would be responsible for defining the technologies needed to create customizable web interfaces and leading other developers in the use of these technologies.

We are open to hiring someone on a contract basis, but are willing to hire full time if there is flexibility around travel between clients in Ohio and Michigan.
