The American Red Cross is in urgent need of blood donors, and we believe that a blood drive at TechColumbus is a way that we can make a difference and save lives(and beat Michigan)!!
Did you know that:
- EVERY DAY there is approximately 650 blood donors needed in Central Ohio alone.
- Someone in America needs blood every 2 seconds
- There is a 97 percent chance that you will know someone who will need blood.
- Only 5 percent of the eligible population actually donates blood.
- There are 3 potential number of lives saved from just a single blood donation.
- You can donate blood 6 times a year and in one year you could help save the lives of up to 18 people.

If you last donated on or before 9/21/09 you may be eligible to donate.
Positive identification required. Red Cross donor card or photo ID showing date of birth. Blood donors must weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, be at least 17 years of age and be in general good health
