Biomedical and Medical Imaging Program RFPs

The Request for Proposals (RFP) for both the Biomedical Program and the Medical Imaging Program have been published at the Ohio Third Frontier Websites http://www.thirdfrontier.com/BiomedicalProgram.htm and http://www.thirdfrontier.com/MedicalImagingProgram.htm

Key dates for these two Programs are:

• RFP Released - November 1, 2010
• Bidders’ Conference - November 22, 2010, 10:00 AM
• Letters of Intent due by 2:00 PM - December 14, 2010
• Written Questions - through January 11, 2011
• Proposals due by 2:00 PM - January 18, 2011
• Review and Award Approximately- July, 2011

A Bidders’ Conference for prospective applicants, at which Development staff will present information on the RFP and answer questions, will be held on November 22 at 10:00 a.m. at TechColumbus, 1275 Kinnear Road, Columbus, Ohio.  Attendance at the Bidders’ Conference is encouraged, but is not mandatory.  Registration is not required or necessary.

Applicants should be aware of Governor Strickland’s Executive Order 2010-09S, “Banning the Expenditures of Public Funds for Offshore Services” and the new requirement to comply.  The Executive Order and the required Affirmation & Disclosure Form can be found in on the website.

Please carefully review the RFP before developing a proposal to ensure your project meets the requirements of the Program.
