BioOhio to Host Event to Connect Bioscience Startups with Investors

BioOhio has announced plans for an event aimed at connecting Ohio’s private equity investors with some of the state’s most promising bioscience and biomedical startups. The event, BioOhio Capital Connections, will be held August 24 from 3-6:30 p.m. on August 24 at TechColumbus.

This event is designed to provide a venue for connecting the growing number of private investors in the state with the expanding pipeline of Ohio biomedical and healthcare companies.&

The event will feature a panel discussion among investors who will discuss trends and opportunities, as well as two seasoned biomedical entrepreneurs who will share lessons learned.  The panel will be followed by refreshments and networking.  For full details, see the announcement from BioOhio.
