Our featured speaker is Douglas M. Lambert, PhD, Raymond E. Mason Chair in Transportation and Logistics and Professor of Marketing & Logistics at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Dr. Lambert is also Director of The Global Supply Chain Forum. He will share his expertise on supply chain relationship management, the role of partnerships in achieving a competitive advantage, and measuring and selling the value of logistics.
The afternoon event also features a panel session about the opportunities and challenges associated with supplier diversity programs. We will hear both the supply and purchasing perspectives to gain insights about improving B2B connectivity, understanding buyer requirements, and increasing the number of qualified diverse suppliers in Ohio. The panel will include Brian Frank (Ben Venue Laboratories) and Holly Miller-Downour (Abbott Nutrition), who lead their company’s supplier diversity initiatives, as well as Dwain Henderson, who coaches diverse suppliers and small businesses.
There will be ample opportunity for questions and networking during and after the workshop. The workshop is April 18, 3-5pm (followed by wine and cheese reception)
FREE to attend, however donations can be made to BioOhio’s Scholarship Fund at the event. Space is limited… to reserve your seat, register here.
