Brand Thunder Creates Custom Web Browser for TechColumbus

Brand Thunder, a portfolio company of TechColumbus and the Ohio TechAngels, has launched a new custom browser for TechColumbus. The browser is now available for download and designed to enhance the non-profit's brand in Central Ohio and offer its constituents easier ways to engage with the organization.

The browser uses the Firefox platform and features:

• TechColumbus News and Events: Delivered via RSS feedsand accessable through a media button
• A direct link for Entrepreneurs to engage with TechColumbus' TechStart program and connect to resources
• A direct link to the members-only area of the site where TechColumbus members can quickly access their online benefits, including posting jobs, press releases, and company events
• Link to search Central Ohio job postings collected from more than 100 online job boards
• Customizable Techcolumbus "brand colors" that users can choose from for their browser window

If they do not already have the application installed, users will first need to have Firefox installed on their computer before uploading the TechColumbus browser . The download is free and available at www.getfirefox.com.
