BrandThunder Featured on CrunchGear.com for the Launch of Its Extension to Firefox

July 9, 2010

TechColumbus portfolio company BrandThunder was featured on lifehacker.com and CrunchGear.com this week for the launch of its innovative new Personas Interactive, an extension to Firefox that allows Web developers and users much more flexibility in customizing their Web browsers.

“We’re getting a lot of great press this week because we’ve unleashed a platform that gives Web developers much more freedom and control to build their own custom themed browsers on our platform,” said BrandThunder founder Patrick Murphy. “Basically, we’ve leapfrogged Firefox’s limited Personas browser theme options by offering much more flexibility.  Internally, it has cut our own development time tenfold.”

With BrandThunder’s Personas Interactive, users can have as many themes they you want, preview galleries without giving them permission to install add-ons, use it with other Firefox themes, and adjust a few miscellaneous settings that were missing from Firefox’s offerings.
