BUSINESS BREAKFAST: Kickin’ Presentations: How to Engage, Influence and Wow Your Audience

Don't miss this high-energy business breakfast with Karen Hough, founder and CEO of ImprovEdge, where you will learn new business skills through improvisation! Presentations don’t just happen when you’re standing up in front of a Powerpoint. Using key presentation skills to create impact can apply to small groups and one-on-conversations, too. This session will explore 3 levels of immediate “Wow” skills: formal presentations up-front, presenting to a small group, and engaging in a memorable one-on-one conversation. You will learn:

- How to Engage and Connect to a Large Audience

- 3 Absolute Rules for Powerpoint

- 3 Preparation Musts

- Classic Mistakes to Avoid

- Being Memorable One-on-One

- What to Do When Things Go Wrong

Ms. Hough will draw real life examples from her upcoming book, "The Improvisation Edge: Secrets to Building Trust and Radical Collaboration at Work" to be published by Berrett-Koehler in 2011. We will see you there!

Agenda:

7:30-8am: Networking and refreshments
8am-9am: Presentation
9am-9:30: Q & A / networking
