We are in need of a highly energetic, aggressive team player for the position of Business Development Associate.  You will be responsible for executing the business development goals of the company, including contract and proposal management, strategic planning, marketing, sales, business development and capture planning.

This firm has a successful record of implementing a wide range of projects for reputed organizations and firms and has an outstanding model of project execution for the most complicated and advanced software and IT solutions to the clients.  This is truly a "build a business" opportunity and both the role as well as the company itself have immense upside.

Responsibilities Include:

Identify and pursue prime contractors to establish teaming relationships that are beneficial to the company

Build relationships with target agency key representatives

Meet in person with Small Business representatives, program/project managers, and decision makers

Develop and manage a comprehensive database on opportunities

Represent the company at marketing events, trade shows, business forums, and seminars

Obtain and organize all information required for sources and RFP submissions

Write first drafts for all RFP's and sources sought requests

Work with the Executive team to ensure all RFP and sources sought deadlines are met

Conduct post award debriefings as needed

Helping set up trade show displays and working with new clients at these events

The ideal candidate will work independently and as part of a team
