• Sales experience in an IT consulting
• Background in Financial or Government arena
• Understanding of the IT Staff Augmentation arena
• Strategic thinker and team player
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
• A minimum of 3 years successful B2B selling experience is required.
• Experience in selling technology solutions and consulting services is helpful.
• Proven track record of meeting weekly, monthly, and yearly goals
• Excellent written and oral communications are a must, as well as strong listening and presentation skills

• Develop and execute client contact/sales plans
• Meet and/or exceed weekly sales goals/quotas.
• Create and maintain long-term relationship with new and existing clients, not transaction based selling
• Focus on new business development with key focus on Business Executives
• Develop and document effective strategies to obtain new business
• Widen footprint of relationship within clients
• Find people who have needs (orders) within the clients; help to define and qualify those needs; communicate those needs back to DTI for fulfillment
• Work closely with internal staff such as Technical Recruiters and Managing Consultants to fulfill clients’ needs and demands. Present candidate profiles and proposals to clients
• Touch base, and meet face-to-face with clients on a regular basis
• Touch base and meet face-to-face with billing consultants monthly and provide feedback to the Client Manager and MC as needed.
• Provide sales forecasts to management
• Provide Sales and Marketing support by identifying and pursuing new opportunities within an existing engagement and participating on sales calls at other client sites
• Maintain communication among clients, recruiting, candidates, staff, and consultants
• Conduct client and consultant satisfaction surveys and ensure client and consultant satisfaction
• Participate in DTI meetings and functions as directed.
• Keep abreast of market developments and changing IT technologies
• Attend marketing, user groups, networking, and trade show events in the local area monthly
• Participate in trade shows as directed.
