For the fourth consecutive year, Cardinal Health Foundation plans to award more than $1 million in grant funding to help US hospitals, health systems and community health clinics improve the efficiency and quality of care.
Earlier this year, the Cardinal Health Foundation awarded grants to 40 organizations in 25 states as part of its E3 Grant Program, which was launched in 2008 to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and excellence of healthcare.
In 2011, applicants are encouraged to submit funding requests for projects that will improve medication safety or improve operating room safety.
Applications must be submitted by December 3, 2010.
