Central Ohio Companies Make Strong Showing in Inc 500|5000

Each year Inc magazine honors the fastest growing privately held companies in the US to recognize the nation’s entrepreneurial achievements. In 2010, 52 Central Ohio companies were recognized for their outstanding growth.

The strongest industry showing in the region was for information technology with eight (15 percent) of the 52 Central Ohio companies making the list indicated their industry as IT. Special recognition goes out to two Central Ohio companies that ranked in the top 200 -- InsuranceAgents.com which placed 68th on the list for its phenomenal growth of 3450 percent over the last three years and People to My Site which ranked 199th for its growth rate of 1460 percent.
