Central Ohio Companies Ranked Among Best Places to Work in IT

Computerworld has released its 16th annual list of 100 Best Places to Work for IT Professionals.  Three Central Ohio employers have made the list including OhioHealth (17), OCLC (38) and Progressive Medical (100). 

The rankings resulted from surveying 27,812 IT employees at nominated companies.  Criteria for the rankings included average salary and bonus increases, percentage of IT staff promoted, IT staff turnover rates, training and development and the percentage of women and minorities in IT staff and management positions.  In addition, information was collected on how each company recognized and rewarded outstanding performance, how retention programs worked and what benefits the companies offered.
