The Ohio Tax Credit Authority has approved Job Creation and Retention Tax Credits for a number of Central Ohio companies planning to expand their businesses and create new jobs in the region.
Information Control Corporation of Dublin has been awarded a 50 percent Job Creation Tax Credit for an expansion project expected to create 75 jobs and retain 380 positions. Information Control Corporation is the largest privately held full-service IT service provider in Ohio.
Mediu, LLC has been awarded a 40 percent Job Creation Tax Credit to support the company’s expansion in the City of Worthington. Mediu is a professional service provider, consulting with direct-to-consumer retail businesses, specializing in call center information solutions for Fortune 1000 companies and helping to improve customer service experiences. The project is expected to create 18 jobs and retain seven positions.
Pactiv Corporation of Columbus has been awarded a 40 percent Job Creation Tax Credit for the company's $1.4 million expansion project that is expected to create 43 jobs, while retaining 133 positions. Pactiv manufactures and distributes food packaging products in the consumer and food service/packaging market, operating 43 manufacturing and nine distribution facilities in North America.
Updox, LLC has been awarded a 45 percent Job Creation Tax Credit for a six-year term as a result of the company's expansion in the City of Dublin. Updox is a software service business which provides a secure messaging, faxing and document management system to physician offices, allowing documents to be safely transferred electronically. This project includes the completion of a secure multi-party exchange and integration system. The project is expected to create 45 jobs and retain two positions.
