With ongoing innovations at Honda and Ohio State’s Center for Automotive Research (CAR), Central Ohio is quickly gaining a national reputation for automotive innovation – especially as it relates to electric vehicles (EVs). A recent press tour orchestrated by Columbus 2020! brought to the region a number of journalists. One in particular, Jim Motavalli, was impressed with advancements in EVs being made not only at Honda and CAR, but also at companies such as Venturi and PlugSmart.
In his latest article, posted on The Advocate (a group of New England-based online publications and TV stations), Motavalli proclaims Columbus as a “Green Car Mecca.” Motavalli notes the tremendous connections and collaboration among all the EV innovators in the region that are contributing to this growing reputation. After a three-day tour of the region, Motavalli says he still didn’t have time to see everything he wanted to.
