CIO.com Recommends Twitter Lists

December 30, 2009

In November, Twitter launched a feature that allows users to organize the people they follow into categories known as Twitter Lists.  Twitter Lists gained popularity fast and nearly 9 million lists were created in the first few weeks that the feature was available.  CIO.com published a list of Twitter Lists it recommends for those involved in technology.  The list includes among others:

  • Abbie Lundberg's CIO list – a comprehensive list of CIOs compiled by the former editor-in-chief of CIO magazine.
  • Louis Gray's Top Tech Bloggers – a list of 59 tech bloggers from around the world.
  • George Reese's Cloud list – a list of leaders in cloud computing compiled by the founder and CTO of enStratus, a cloud infrastructure management platform.
  • Peter Urbanski's Developers list – a list of coding experts compiled by Urbanski, a developer, designer and Web publisher.
  • Courtenay Bird's Digital and Social Media list – Over 500 digital and social media gurus compiled by Bird, a new media expert.
