Cloud Engineer

Bachelors degree in related field

• 5 years+ of Microsoft experience

• Advanced understanding of Windows Server patch management techniques and principles

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and MS Exchange 2007/2010 environments

• Experience with UNIX and LINUX OS a big plus

• Expert level creating solutions to automate installs and manage multiple applications within an enterprise virtual server environment

• EMC Avamar experience a HUGE plus

• Experience with VMware vSphere 4.0 a big plus

A well established, fast growing client in the Columbus area is looking for Cloud Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a well capitalized, exciting company with a great work environment!! You will be supporting their rapidly growing Cloud Environment implementing, configuring, administering and troubleshooting the large enterprise VMware cloud rollouts.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain the Windows Exchange, Active Directory, Linux, VMware, and EMC SAN storage environments

• Participate in the design, implementation and support of virtualized cloud deployments

• Provide escalation support to engineering team • Automate installations and configurations

• Manage multiple software applications (OS, virus software, security policies, performance monitoring packages, etc.)
