John Battelle, co-founder of WIRED magazine, entrepreneur, Internet futurist, author, journalist and professor, will serve as keynote speaker for the 2010 TechColumbus TechTomorrow event scheduled September 29 – October 1 at the Ohio Union.
Billed as a CIO Leadership Exchange, TechTomorrow is a three-day event for executives in IT, marketing, brand management and operations that will bring together CIOs and executives from across the nation for education, networking and dialog. The event combines keynote speakers with interactive panel discussions of best practices and emerging trends in IT.
In addition to Battelle, other speakers will include Patricia Morrison, executive vice president and CIO of Cardinal Health, Inc. (welcome address) and John Deane, managing director for Clipper Advisor Group (closing remarks). Educational and breakout sessions will be complemented with many opportunities for growing your national network of IT executives. The event will feature a golf outing, a startup showcase and vendor fair.
Some of the companies currently represented in the breakout and educational sessions include Limited Brands, Cardinal Health, Speedway/Super America, M/I Homes, Progressive Medical, Franklin University, Tween Brands, Exel Logistics, Glomark-Governan, Win Wholesale and Safe Auto.
