The Columbus Intellectual Property Law Assoc. presents the Leahy-Smithy America Invents Act and How It Impacts You

The Columbus Intellectual Property Law Association (CIPLA) presents the "Leahy-Smithy America Invents Act and How it Impacts You."  Elizabeth Maag,Patent Attorney with McNees, Wallace & Nurick, LLC  will discuss key provisions of the Act and how those provisions will impact the future of patent prosecution, acquisition and enforcement. The AIA was signed into law by President Obama on September 16, 2011, finalizing and significantly changing US Patent Law.

7:00pm   Optional tour of TechColumbus

2.5 hour CLE Available: Application will be filed with the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 2.5 general CLE hours

Cost to attend: Please pay by cash or check when you sign in at the event.

• CLE credit and dinner: $30 Members/$40 Non-members
   
• CLE not required but like to stay for dinner and networking: $20 Members/Non-members

• FREE if you would like to hear the presentation but you do not need CLE credit and do not want to stay for dinner and networking. 

“Members” refers to both TechColumbus and CIPLA members.
