Columbus Metropolitan Club On-Site at TechColumbus
Join members from the Columbus Metropolitan Club and TechColumbus during this informal, networking event to hear about the region’s progress as a growing tech center and to take a behind-the-scenes look at TechColumbus. This is a great opportunity to learn more about TechColumbus’ entrepreneurial, membership, and business services, as well as meet some of the up-and-coming technology start-ups in Central Ohio.
The event will feature a welcome and regional update by TechColumbus President and CEO Ted Ford, as well as brief introductions of some of our incubator and portfolio companies. There will be a Q&A session as well as tours of the TechColumbus incubator and facility.
The event is open to everyone who is interested in learning more about TechColumbus and the exciting growth of technology and business in central Ohio. We hope you will join us.

Ted Ford
President and CEO, TechColumbus
Ted Ford is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in government, marketing, higher education, and public-private partnerships. Prior to becoming TechColumbus’s first CEO, he served as President and CEO of Edison Welding Institute, a nationally recognized independent engineering research and development organization. As Senior Vice President for University Advancement at Northern Arizona University in the late 1990’s, he led the development launch of the institution’s first capital campaign which raised $100 million. He has served as a business development professional, legislative advocate, legislative staffer, and executive assistant to the Governor of Ohio.
Will Indest
VP Venture Development and Director of TechStart
Will Indest is vice president of venture development and director of TechStart, the Central Ohio Entrepreneurial Signature Program, with TechColumbus. In that role, Will manages a portfolio of 44 companies and about $20 million of assets under management. Prior to TechColumbus, Will was instrumental in founding the $150 million Ohio Capital Fund – an seed stage Fund of Funds, as well as managing the State of Ohio’s pre-seed and angel fund program. Will has also successfully exited from a process control startup he co-founded.

Three miles of 315 will be under construction beginning June 15 from I-670 to North Broadway. Traveling north on 315, the Medical Center/King Ave exit will be closed.
