Description	LSP Technologies is a leader in designing, developing, and implementing high-energy laser systems and processes. We are seeking a full time controls engineer who will be responsible for design, development and implementation of automated processing equipment, power supplies, controls, interfaces and data acquisition for high energy pulsed laser systems. Duties: Report directly to the ERD Manager. Perform engineering projects concerning the design, development and implementation of processing services and equipment. Perform all assigned functions in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System. Ensure analyses and data are accurate and are performed in accordance with appropriate engineering standards using calibrated equipment. Responsible for design and development of controls for automated part handling, manipulation, tracking and reporting. Development of power supply systems and interfaces for high energy pulsed laser systems. Development of control systems for high energy pulsed laser systems (hardware and software). Design and development of data acquisition systems and implementation of data collection and analysis algorithms for pulsed laser systems. Maintenance of data collection, networking systems and SQL. Perform all other duties as assigned.
