Cooperation among Local Health Systems Saves Lives and Money While Improving the Quality of Life for Central Ohioans

The impact of Central Ohio’s health care system is not only measured by the strength of each of its individual institutions, but also through the collaborative efforts of all to improve the lives of Central Ohioans.
 
In a recent video, Steve Allen, MD, CEO of Nationwide Children’s outlined how, since 2003, this collaboration has not only increased positive outcomes for high risk pregnancies, saved lives and dramatically increased the quality of care of patients at all Central Ohio health systems, it has saved more than $7.5 million in healthcare costs.
