Qualifications:

The individual will have at least 7 years experience, including technical consulting or solution design, implementation, management, and troubleshooting of IP networking and information security infrastructures. This experience should include a working knowledge of all the components of complex security, network, ISP, and hosting environments. Strong understanding of managed and cloud based services. Solid technical understanding of items such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention, load balancers, web and database servers, etc. is also needed.

Are you a dynamic and professional IT leader who can take initiative and a hands on mentality? This position will lead discussions with large scale customers, partners and internal engineers related to technical solutions, as well as provide consulting services for a variety of information security and networking products and services. Offering support for intensive managed security, networking, and hosting solutions through both direct and indirect contact with prospects and clients is required. The CTO will develop and present the client value proposition and technical service offerings to customers, employees, vendors and the general IT / investment communities. The CTO must have the ability to perform the discovery necessary to learn the details of a customer environment and provide a strategic direction to the customer based on those findings. This role is key to the continued growth of the company and its strong presence within the industry. An energetic yet professional image is expected as well as the ability to provide alternative suggestions when faced with adversity no matter the risk. Person should be a technologist and a serve as a technical thought leader in the industry. A solid understanding of ISPs and data centers is preferred.
