The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and a minimum of five years experience in a technical support role. MS in Engineering or Business preferred.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of Solaris OS/UNIX experience.. Understanding of telecommunication infrastructure, HLR/SCP media gateway, network architecture, storage and high availability architectures. Sun SPARC experience. Experience with Intel and AMD architectures. VMWare experience. Windows, Linux and Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience. A blend of hardware and software experience. Some of the unique elements of this position include: Ability to review, understand and interpret customer contracts.. Train on products and services working with associates across the organziation. Ability to travel based on customer demand (could be short notice). Flexibility to work from home.
