DataCenter.BZ Announces Level 3 as the Latest Carrier Utilizing Dual Entrance Fiber to Access the Data Center

Columbus, Ohio – February 4, 2010 – DataCenter.BZ, a Tier IV, carrier-neutral data center is pleased to announce that fiber optic based telecommunication services are now available from Level 3 at the DataCenter.BZ facility. 

DataCenter.BZ is looking forward to working with Level 3 as the data center continues to deliver world class, non-stop services to clients.   The addition of Level 3 further enhances the carrier-neutral platform offered at DataCenter.BZ and provides customers with superior freedom of choice.

Level 3 joins a wide array of other carriers delivering their services via dual fiber paths to the DataCenter.BZ facility, including:

• XO Communications
• Time Warner Cable

Dual entrance fiber is a particularly valuable feature to clients because it eliminates a single point of failure for the telecomunication services provided via that carrier out of the data center.  This increases reliability of the services and virtually eliminates downtime of the telecom services for the customer.

In addition to the carriers delivering services to the data center via dual path fiber, there are many other national and regional telecom providers that serve clients from the data center that utilize other transport methods (single entry fiber, copper, etc.).
