(Columbus, OH – October 3, 2011) – The deadline for nominations for the 2011 TechColumbus Innovation Awards is approaching October 11. The TechColumbus Innovation Awards celebrate and honor individuals and teams for their outstanding achievements in business leadership and innovation covering all industries including energy, financial services, retail, insurance and healthcare.
“The Innovation Awards has become the premier event for the Central Ohio innovation community, showcasing the best and brightest individuals, companies and teams for their contributions and achievements,” said Tim Haynes, Vice President of TechColumbus. “This year, we have emphasized the breadth of innovation across all industries and have streamlined the nomination process to maximize participation.”
The process to nominate is quick and easy. Individuals have the opportunity to nominate themselves, a company, a client, a co-worker, a competitor, a vendor, or a mentor in 13 different categories. To nominate, please visit: www.techcolumbusinnovationawards.org
Once the nomination has been submitted and verified, the nominee will be contacted and asked to submit a full packet of information about their innovation. All complete submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges and scored for each award category. The top three award finalists and the award winner will be announced at the 2011 Innovation Awards on February 2, 2012 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center – Battelle Hall.
