Did you know that one of the largest retail suppliers of gas in the United States resides right here in Dublin Ohio?  You are invited to join us for a DEC Premier Event as we feature IGS Energy, America’s largest independent retail supplier of natural gas of both residential and business customers, founded in 1989.

Come listen as the President and Founder, Scott White shares his story of the IGS Energy Company journey from an energy reseller to an energy company after deregulation laws untangled creating huge opportunities and amazing growth.

Only a stone’s throw from the Dublin Entrepreneur Center, IGS has a state-of-the-art corporate headquarters in Dublin, which reflects their commitment to wise and responsible energy consumption.  Scott will share an overview of the highly energy-efficient building with modern workspaces, and healthy, productive, and collaborative environments. The building was built according to L.E.E.D. Platinum guidelines and is undergoing application for this certification.

Scott White is the President of IGS Energy. As one of the company’s founders, he has been with IGS Energy since 1989. Scott has extensive experience in all aspects of natural gas supply functions, trading, and distribution marketing; including more than 20 years experience in senior-level management positions with enterprise-wide financial and administration responsibilities for the company’s seven-state regional service area. Under his leadership, IGS Energy has grown from a three-person start-up natural gas company with almost $1 million in sales in 1989 to a 200 employee organization with more than $1.4 billion in revenue in 2010. Scott serves on the Board of Directors for IGS Energy, Saven Corporation, the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA), and is a member of the Ohio Gas Association and the Ohio Oil and Gas Association. The Columbus native graduated from Ohio University with a degree in finance and marketing. Scott currently lives in Dublin, Ohio, with his wife and three children.
