| Description | Provides direction and leadership to the Science and Technology Support group at the Ohio Supercomputer Center; oversees projects, services, and functions; identifies and develops individual/group goals and directions; plans and implements training, support, and outreach activities; provides technical support on third-party applications, scientific programming, and parallel programming paradigms; collaborates with educators, scientists, commercial clients, and researchers that use the OSC high performance computing platforms and storage systems; assists in developing new services that use high performance computing and storage; promotes computationally-intensive and data-intensive interests with prospective clients; keeps current on new advances in high performance computing; participates in strategic planning initiatives; other duties as assigned. |
