| Education |
Bachelor's degree in a business or technology related field of study required, Master's degree desired.

| Experience |
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible IT project management experience, preferably in a higher education environment
- Formal training in industry standard process and project management concepts, methodologies and tools
- Advanced computer skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio and project portfolio management software
- Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects and efforts simultaneously, including ability to set appropriate priorities to effect timely completion of numerous concurrent tasks and projects within defined resource limitations
- Cost accounting and budgeting experience
- Demonstrated ability to form and maintain collaborative partnerships across a complex organization with diverse constituencies; ability to build consensus on complex and sometimes controversial subjects
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written; the ability to communicate effectively by adapting approach, language and style to a wide variety of audiences, including stakeholders that are both technical and non-technical; ability to grasp and communicate the big picture while remaining conversant with details
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute desired.
- Working experience with TeamDynamix project portfolio management system desired.

| Description |
Director of Project Management and Planning has responsibility for the delivery of effective business analysis and project management and within the Office of Information Technology Services in the Fisher College of Business. This position will work to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet budget and quality expectations. The director will help develop, implement and champion project management and business analysis methodologies, processes and practices and act as a consultative resource for the department in their implementation and utilization.
