Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience and successful track record managing sales, establishing leads, and selling intangible products or services in a business-to-business environment.
  • Passion for driving new business through prospecting and building relationships – “order takers” need not apply.
  • Aptitude to understand and effectively communicate financial and operational performance advantages to be accrued through use of Syrus software and services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal presence, and a proven track record of using those abilities to educate, persuade, and influence others.
  • Ability to present to small or large groups, both via the Internet and in person.
  • Available to travel up to 50% of the time.
Description

Syrus Restaurant Information Services is a leading provider of back office and above store reporting tools and services to the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. We evolved as the technology arm of one of the largest franchise organizations in the Wendy’s system, and now provide our tools and services for Wendy’s and other nationally recognized restaurant brands. 

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with extensive experience and a successful track record in developing and managing sales processes, and selling intangible products or services in a business-to-business environment. 

In this role, your talent and energies will focus on communicating and selling the strategic advantages of our tools and services, which include increased financial controls and improved financial and operational performance. 

Job Objective:

Development and execution of a strategic sales plan targeting franchise owners and operators, and corporate executives and operators of selected national restaurant brands. Works with Executive Management to staff and direct a sales team, provides

leadership, evaluation, and management towards the achievement of maximum growth in line with company vision. The position includes not only management of sales activity, but also deep personal involvement and participation in direct sales efforts and execution of sales plans.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Works with Executive Management to establish a scalable sales management process using existing Customer Relationship Management software, and applicable outsourced or internally-developed strategic sales management system.
  • Responsible for the performance, development, and evaluation of Account Executives.
  • Assists Account Executives in preparation and presentation of product demonstration and proposals.
  • Provides timely feedback to Executive Management regarding Account Executive performance. 

Direct Sales Responsibilities:

  • Generates sales leads through cold calls, referrals from current Syrus customer base, trade show attendance, and advertising campaigns. Close those sales leads in conjunction with strategic sales plan.

Compensation:

  • Base salary commensurate with experience, plus commission and performance incentives (no cap)
