| Description | Full time permanent position in Suffern, NY Please apply at rgudipudi@everesttech.com or call at 614.408.8148 Specific applications this position will be responsible for: Merchandise Planning Replenishment / Allocation Store Planning Master Data: Store and item Purchase Order Management Import Tracking Warehouse (Business Relationship) Inventory Management Size Optimization The position is jointly responsible for managing the strategic partnership with Oracle Retail, JDA, and Manhattan Associates. The Director of Solutions Delivery will be experienced and knowledgeable in IT processes and be able to champion change initiatives. In this role, you will also: Be responsible for the full systems development life cycle management of projects/programs. Provide direction for technical and business engagement resources within dressbarn IT. Actively participate in long-range strategy planning and manage policy development to address complex business issues, provides leadership to cross-functional teams. Serve as the primary point of contact from project/program inception to delivery. Define and develop project management infrastructure, manage a methodology driven quality plan, monitor and control the quality of deliverables, as well as manage the project completion process through customer acceptance. Work with business unit managers and form alliances on projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements/conflicts and vendor contract clarification. Participate in asset management and budgeting. Participate in software and services vendor management. Continue to support customer service orientation. Commit fixed capacity to incidents which will be trended and forecasted. Manage service requests in monthly releases and flex when incidents and projects require more capacity than expected. Create succession planning: Lead, backup, and bench for every major application. Enforce consistent interface to the shared services: infrastructure, SDLC, financial governance, compliance. Utilize an onshore/Offshore strategic partner utilized as flex capacity as urgent business conditions change. Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess IT RETAIL EXPERIENCE and the following: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field and/or equivalent work experience. 10 - 15 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 3 years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders. Mastery knowledge of merchandise, assortment, and location planning. Candidate should also understand the intricacies of allocation. Firm understanding of retail inventory method. Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders from senior business leaders to IT staff. A proven track record of developing high performing team with a focus on development and career planning. Significant experience within the retail industry. Extensive experience with success results in life cycle management, engineering, or manufacturing. At ease in working with customers, partners, and suppliers at the executive level. Outstanding communications skills; able to articulate complex technical topics for non-technical audiences. Must understand corporate business imperatives, information technology trends and current IT capabilities to create an integrated strategy that is compelling, realistic and achievable. A firm understanding of: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) particularly incident, problem, change, and service request. Software development lifecycle (SDLC) particularly as it relates to purchased software applications, joint development projects, and applications supported by a managed service provider. Building capability roadmaps. Building a staffing model and managing ongoing capacity planning. |
