DoMedia has named Andrew Mansinne as CEO. In this role, he will lead the operations of DoMedia, an online advertising database focused on alternative and out-of-home media. Previously Mansinne was a top marketing executive with Napa Valley-based Foster’s Wine Estates Americas. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade with wine and liquor maker Brown-Forman Corp. of Louisville, KY. Central Ohio entrepreneur Rich Langdalefounded DoMedia and serves as its chairman. Last year, the company acquired Out of Home Connect, Inc. and the Buyer’s Guide to Outdoor Advertising (the Green Book). DoMedia deals in the growing specialty field of alternative and out-of-home media. Although only a fraction of the traditional media industry, this type of alternative advertising, which encompasses billboards, truck sides, mobile devices, wallscapes and many other “off the wall” options, could represent as much as $30 billion a year in the near future according to Langdale.
