Dublin-based startup, LogoMyWay, has been awarded $25,000 from Kodak as part of its Print and Prosper contest. Founder Joe Daley submitted an entry for the contest last November and then members of the Central Ohio business community voted via Twitter, Facebook and other social sharing sites, to make LogoMyWay the grand prize winner.
LogoMyWay.com connects companies needing logo designs to a worldwide community of more than 10,000 designers. Clients specify how much they are willing to pay for the winning design. Then designers from all over the world can submit logo concepts for consideration. The site provides an online gallery for viewing, commenting and voting on the various submitted designs.
In addition to Kodak, the contest was sponsored by Office Max and Entrepreneur magazine. For the full story, see: http://www.entrepreneur.com/prospercontest/
