The mission of the TechColumbus Dublin is to create technology jobs in the fields of IT, BioScience, and Advanced Materials in the Dublin area in partnership with the Dublin Economic Development Office. TechColumbus concentrates its efforts on innovative technology based businesses – those that have potential for rapid revenue and employee growth.

Located at the Dublin Entrepreneurial Center(DEC) ,TechColumbus brings its significant resources, experience, and expertise to bear to cultivate the vibrant community of entrepreneurs and growth focused businesses in the city of Dublin. This partnership has already yielded significant results, including investments in Dublin companies via the TechColumbus Pre-Seed Fund  and The Ohio TechAngels, support for innovative companies in obtaining and managing State and federal grants, and assisting a wide range of entrepreneurs and innovative companies to thrive.

With staffed offices located at The DEC, TechColumbus is uniquely positioned to partner with Dublin's Economic Development team.  The DEC is modeled on the successful TechColumbus incubator located on Kinnear Road in Columbus, but does not duplicate it. It is a  "graduate center" for companies already having some success and wanting to build on that success by being in close proximity to entrepreneurial companies and in close proximity to onsite resources targeted to address the needs of innovative companies, such as university training and workforce programs, Edison Centers, the Small Business Development Center, and Platform Lab .
