How to you make your limited resources go farther and your business look better.  Local entrepreneurs will share their strategies and how they "bootstrapped" their business.  Views from the successful book "Start & Grow a Successful Company With Almost No Money" (authored by Greg Gianforte with Marcus Gibson), will be presented by Kevin Gadd, Director of Commercialization, TechColumbus

Panelists:
Rich Langdale,Managing Partner, NCT Ventures
Through his 20 year history, Rich Langdale has made 25 investments, of which all but one has, or is on pace to, create a return. The average rate of return has been approximate 95% IRR and 3.5 times capital. The companies have had offices all around the globe, sold and raised hundreds of millions of dollars, once hired 1,000 people in a three-month period, launched new products, lead industries, and are fun places to work with vibrant ethical cultures.

Bill Troy, President, Troy Research
Bill is in many ways the prototypical boostrapping entrepreneur.  Starting with $3500 in his basement in 1997, Bill built a simple online application that allowed local radio stations to gauge listener opinions of the music they played.  From that initial product, Bill has been able to bootstrap the company into a full service market research firm with clients that include MTV, Sony, and many other high profile worldwide brands--landing TroyResearch on both the Inc. 500 and the Fast 50.  And despite now working with clients from Latvia to Los Angeles and from Sydney to Sao Paulo, Bill's company still has maintained that original bootstrapping start-up culture.  He and his 7 full time and 50 contract and part-time team members still work completely virtually from home offices located worldwide.

Ray Bohac, President & CEO, CallCopy
The founder of CallCopy, it was Mr. Bohac's vision that first identified the market opportunity, laid the plans for the development of the cc:Discover suite, and built the team to bring the product to market. In addition to his experience in corporate finance and business development, Mr. Bohac has extensive experience in IT systems administration and application programming, specifically within the realm of Computer-Telephony Integration (CTI).
