IT Salaries Increase Even During Economic Downturn
A recent survey of IT professionals indicates that salaries continue to rise despite the recession. The IT training company, Global Knowledge, in conjunction with TechRepublic, released the 2009 IT Skills and Salary Report which reported the average base salary in 2009 for IT workers in the US is $81,600. DoMedia Names CEO
DoMedia has named Andrew Mansinne as CEO. In this role, he will lead the operations of DoMedia, an online advertising database focused on alternative and out-of-home media. Previously Mansinne was a top marketing executive with Napa Valley-based Foster’s Wine Estates Americas. MIT Spinoff Closes $5M Series A Funding Round With Investments from Battelle Ventures
Hepregen Corp., a biotechnology company developing a platform for reducing the liver toxicity caused by approved drugs, has closed its series A funding with commitment of the final $2 million in a total $5 million investment from Battelle Ventures and its funding partner, Innovation Valley Partners.
