ERA Presents: Making the Transition to Supervisor

Have you recently been promoted to supervisor? Frontline management is one of the most challenging and critical roles to the success of individual and team contributions, yet often is also one of the most neglected when it comes to training. Traditionally, frontline managers and supervisors learn how to manage on the job, mostly through trial and error, with little instruction on people management. This program is designed specifically for the newly promoted supervisor or someone who will soon make the transition. This class introduces supervisors to the dynamic nature of their new role, how to communicate effectively to influence others, tools to give feedback and manage conflict, and other fundamental skills necessary to be immediately effective in that role.

Dates: 4-week program beginning August 4, 2011 from 8:15 am - 12:15 pm

Cost: $340 for ERA members and $475 for non-members
