PANELISTS:
| Kevin Gadd | Director of IT Commercialization, TechColumbus | Kevin regularly counsels entrepreneurs on “When to Jump” as well as other strategic business initiatives. In a prior role, Kevin wrestled with the decision to become a full-time entrepreneur. While an IT Manager at The Limited he made the decision to leave and join The Prometheus Group, which grew and was acquired after two years. Kevin has also co-founded several other IT startups. |
| Greg Yoakam | CEO/President, KidsLinked.com | In 2008, Greg left Cardinal Health to become a full time entrepreneur. He founded KidsLinked.com when his children were 2 and 4 years old, based on the realization of how busy life can be for a parent. Knowing that running a business would be in his future, he built his IT, Finance, Accounting, Marketing and Sales background by starting at the ground level as a Financial Analyst at The Limited to ultimately the Director of Business Sales Strategy at Cardinal Health. Greg is an undergrad and MBA graduate of The Ohio State University. |
| Wendy Gadd | Sales Manager, Liebert Global Services | As Kevin's spouse, Wendy has firsthand experience with managing the family impact of an entrepreneurial jump. Their family has survived many of these jumps over the course of almost fifteen years. |
| Alan Homewood | CEO, 2CheckOut.com | Alan left a well-paying profession and started a business from scratch, experiencing reservations and concerns along the way. The jump paid off. His company now employs over 100 people and has received numerous local and national honors. Alan will speak to the fact that the success did not come without a price. |
