The Showcase
The Showcase at the Innovation Awards was one of the top two opportunities highlighted in the post-event survey, the other was networking, a result of the companies selected for the showcase and the diverse attendance. Making that personal connection with a potential investor, advisor or first customer is priceless.
This year TechColumbus will be hosting additional Showcases to highlight our highly creative and dedicated innovators and entrepreneurs. These events will promote outstanding product and technical achievements throughout Central Ohio’s innovation ecosystem.
The Pitch Night
You work all day and all night on taking your amazing idea and turning it into a startup company. The next challenge is finding the right platform to share your amazing idea. The Pitch Night offers a platform for you to pitch your idea in front of a panel of the region’s investor’s, first customers and peers. It’s a great opportunity to share your idea, get feedback from an informal focus group in a supportive setting. TechColumbus will be hosting various Pitch Nights around the region.
Entrepreneur Night Out
Networking....who makes time to do this when the focus is on developing your idea. You don’t know what you need to know until you need to know it so why not join your peers, future mentors and collaborators at an Entrepreneur Night Out? We’ll take the scheduling off of your hands and set it up for you, all you have to do is show up....or not. If you don’t you may miss the opportunity to share your ideas, seek advice, and/or connect with those who can connect you to the money!
The Circuit
TechColumbus is bringing recognized national and international experts to Central Ohio to share their strategic knowledge with our entrepreneurs in both workshop and small group formats. Such thought leaders include those who can provide critical guidance regarding capital markets, designing effective corporate governance structures, building high-performance management teams, conducting strategic business development and more.
