Columbus-based Exacter, Inc., which provides early failure warning systems to the transmission and distribution industry, has announced the formation of a strategic partnership with PAR Electrical Contractors, Inc.
PAR is a leader in outsourced design, installation, repair and maintenance of transmission and distribution networks for utilities and power generators. The company is based in Kansas City, MO with permanent and temporary offices across the nation.
Exacter, a local startup which has been a two-time recipient of a TechColumbus Innovation Award, has developed a system using advanced sensor-array technology that can provide early warning of failing overhead transmission and distribution components such as transformers, regulators, insulators, etc. The system’s GPS functionality provides location data and helps prioritize preventative maintenance issues, thus avoiding outages.
By combining forces, Exacter and PAR will be able to deliver turnkey reliability inspection services to PAR’s utility, municipal and co-op customers.
