Description

Iosil Energy is an entrepreneurial startup at the forefront of renewable energy technology. Focused on the development of technologies to replace our dependence on fossil fuels, we have created a proprietary method for the purification of silicon used in solar cells. Our mission is to produce more efficient, more economical and more ecologically friendly processes in the creation of solar-grade silicon. We are establishing pilot plant operations in Columbus, Ohio and looking for energetic, innovative and ambitious team members to help drive our growth. 

We are currently seekinga Facility/Equipment Engineer to join our outstanding team.

Position Responsibilities:

The Facility/Equipment Engineer is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all facilities related assets including, but not limited to: buildings, grounds, electrical distribution systems, HVAC system, air compressors, fire suppression system, conveyor systems, structures and general facility equipment. The Facility/Equipment Engineer would also be responsible for supporting various types of production equipment such as: Leaching Tanks, Distillation Columns, and CVD Reactors.

Position Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • At least three years of facilities engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Willing to be very hands-on
  • Capable reading and reviewing contractor drawings and schematics
  • Work with the city on permitting activities
  • Thorough understanding of OSHA Safety Regulations and Building Code Standards
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required
