| Description | Our client utilizes a unique service strategy which revolves around the deployment of "hot spares" to support their portfolio of mission critical clients. Our client offers outstanding pay and benefits to superior field engineers in hardware systems maintenance. Our client is the fastest growing independent maintainer of mid-range servers from IBM, SUN and HP/Compaq/DEC. Familiarity with system installation, hardware replacement procedures and firmware upgrades required. Candidates should be experienced with disk and tape sub-systems, including RAID arrays and tape libraries. Seeking field engineers with the ability to interpret and diagnose system error logs. Knowledge of diagnostics, system exercisers and Operating System utilities used to troubleshoot, interrogate, re-configure and test mid-range to enterprise class servers required. We want to talk to "hands on" problem solvers who like fieldwork and want to be pair for their talent. Ideal candidate must be client-focused. Candidate will be a total solutions provider.
