Finalists in the inaugural 14ninetytwo program, sponsored by the Ohio Third Frontier and TechColumbus, have been announced. 14ninetytwo is an early-stage technology incubator program focused on the development and commercialization of Web and Mobile-based applications. The 2009 winners were MobileXpeditions and Cut the Chaos. MobileXpeditions is a location-based interactive tool for providing multimedia tours of destinations such as museums, zoos, amusement parks, etc., via an iPhone application. COSI will be the first to utilize the app. Cut the Chaos offers integrated Web-based family-oriented time management and scheduling tools.
14ninetytwo is providing these startups with business mentoring and access to services the end result of which will be a fully developed business plan and prototype of their application.
