Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field preferred or equivalent technology-related work experience

Minimum 2+ years experience developing large, complex front-end web applications o Familiarity with working in Agile development environment o Strong knowledge of web standards and accessibility (W3C and s508), interaction design and user-centered design principles o Portfolio of work o Expert of web standards, accessibility, CSS-driven layouts and manipulating the DOM o Ability to create production-quality CSS, XML, HTML and JavaScript for use in content management systems, web applications and more o Browser-independent designs and cross-browser issues (IE, Firefox, Safari etc) on all platforms o Design experience with a good eye for aesthetics and detail; can faithfully convert Photoshop design specifications into a functional, standards-compliant website Familiar with: o Flash, Action Script o Developing for Mobile (Smartphones) and tablet devices o PHP, ASP/ASP.NET, JSP o Advanced knowledge of AJAX and jQuery o Understanding of development utilizing Java, Java Server Pages or Microsoft .NET platform o Ability to follow technical specifications and production processes o Ability to adjust graphics and create / optimize graphics assets as needed to complete designs o Ability to work with source/version control software o Aptitude to understand and build SEO/semantic solutions o CSS image sprites

Be a part of the most innovative, online legal research product on the market. The New Product Development User Experience team is situated within the Legal Division of our Client, and plays an integral role in research, design and implementation of online and mobile solutions for the legal market.

The front-end web developer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining web standard CSS framework and stylesheets for complex, information-rich web and mobile applications. This will include interaction and visual design relating to new features and functionality. This role will suit a curious, creative, innovative, conceptual thinker, happy to work in a fast-paced environment.
